God cries with every gay child bullied in school

Loved the weight by which I move – St. Augustine
"Love is the extremely difficult realization that something other than oneself is real. Love ... is the discovery of reality.–Iris Murdoch

God is oppressed with the queer people who are oppressed. God is blasphemed, every time someone is subjected to hate speech God cries with children. God weeps at injustice. God feels pain when persons dehumanize others, on account of their gifts. God feels the scars of children who cannot their souls and their sinews because they are queer. And God is killed, with every child that dies needlessly. Though you mean trying to take God from us (s)h is with is with us; for we are poor in spirit and in dignity. And whatever you do to the least of us, you also due to God, since God is a us and we are in God. God is in you as well, yet you do not see God because God is perfect love, and perfect love knows no fear. Fear has become the idle that binds you to ideologies, and constantly shrinks your Self in the corrosive and slimy sea of consumerist isolation. You are not alone, either as one man or with your family, though you to leave your self into thinking so.

You need God, though not the end of this you create: the unholy union of religious dogmatism, existential enslavement, the modernist project & and rampant capitalism that creates the new corporate Tower of Babel. Family values is the new Golden Calf with which you attempt to establish your earthly dominion. Yet "human beings do not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. What comes from the mouth of God but love. You need us and we need to you. Surrender your deletion of definite substance, and we will attempt to do so is well. I am not saying that we have been hurt you too and there are not many wounds that need to be tended to on both sides, but let us try to enter into communion with one another, and in so doing, we shall realize the Agape to which we were called.

Take heart, actual strides are being made in the Catholic school board. I am giving a presentation in May, regarding this topic. They are a minority, but there are a significant number of teachers working in the Catholic school board, who a...re dedicated to equity, to a living out gospel injunctions & and the statements concerning gay people found in the current catechism. Granted, is nowhere near what is just, but this shift is occurring. If I have to, I will dedicate my whole life to making sure no child goes through what we did. One person who comes out of the closet is stronger than the mob of neoconservatives, who seek to oppress children, and in the name of righteousness scorn the outcast. We can and we shall resist them, and through love and the carriage we will continue to demonstrate, we will show that in your world is possible in which no child shall ever commit suicide because (s)he is queer. I have never lost a fight or not achieve the goal in due time to which I have set my mind, and I do not plan on losing this one. Virtue shall vindicate us

I thought this quotation from Euripides was apt: “Even though a man may perish, his virtue is not extinguished with him.”. By looking back to strong idols of the past one is propelled into the future. Yet idols of a different sort continue to be destructive. We must not be citizens of sleep and we must use our reason and sense of justice like hammers against which we can test those institutions that are firm, those which are hollow and those worthy of utter destruction.

Concepts such as virtue are myths and by that I mean things which stand as a model of and a model for reality. Through such myths we have been endowed with the power to shape our world. Imagination is creation. All hollow ideologies and isms—since they are predicated on false passions—eventually crumble away in the light of reason. Yet virtue because it allows human beings to think of a world outside of themselves, their institutions, and their passions, outlasts any one life, and thus is eternal. As impractical as it may seem, I am an unapologetic idealist and I hope, like to imagine a better world. This imagination is the best restoration for our society, our bodies and our hearts.
